Anyone have experience with Maaco paint shops? Seems a little cheap/sketchy for me but wondering if anyone knows specifics. To quote from their website, "Why do people paint their whole car? Some Maaco customers want to get more money when selling their vehicle, or get it sold quicker." Doesnt seem like you would care much about paint quality if you are trying to sell the car quick. I need to get some dents knocked out and the whole Z repainted in Houston. Trying to do it cheap but good (what more could you ask for). I have a few places to get quotes from (Sal's Auto Body, Greenfield, Pinnacle, Autowerks, Sullivan's, Tri Paint). Anyone with personal experience, good or bad, feel free to share. Also while on the topic of paint, what is required to paint our aluminum hoods? The front end of my car was painted a few years back and the fender paint has held up decent but the hood paint is shot. I mean like showing aluminum bad. Apparently the guy who painted it didn't use the proper process and I would like to avoid making that same error a second time.
